Freight Delivery for Used Engines & Transmissions

Large powertrain components are generally shipped by freight. Delivery requirements depend on the destination, carrier and order.

Approved Destinations

Orders are coordinated for approved destinations within the contiguous United States. International destinations and U.S. territories are not currently supported unless expressly confirmed in writing.

Prepared for Freight

Used engines and transmissions are generally prepared on a pallet or crate before release to the freight carrier. Packaging method can vary by source and unit.

Tracking Updates

Tracking or shipment updates are provided when available after the order is dispatched. Delivery dates are estimates and can change due to carrier, weather, destination or logistics conditions.

Receiving the Shipment

  • Confirm that someone authorized is available to receive the freight.
  • Confirm whether a loading dock, forklift or liftgate is required.
  • Inspect the packaging and unit before signing the delivery receipt.
  • Note visible damage or missing items on the carrier paperwork.
  • Take clear photos before the shipment is moved or unpacked.

Damage Reporting

Visible shipping damage or missing items should be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Contact support promptly and retain the packaging, carrier paperwork and photographs until instructed otherwise.
