Can I get pictures of the engine before making the purchase?
We test each engine on the vehicle after your order and payment. Once confirmed, it’s dismantled, secured on a wooden pallet, and shipped in great condition with a full money-back guarantee. Request engine pictures at sales@thriftyengines.com, and we’ll ship only after your approval.
Is delivery to a residential address possible?
Yes. We offer delivery to both commercial and residential addresses. For commercial locations, the delivery fee is $100. Residential deliveries or non-registered commercial addresses incur a $250 fee due to the additional handling required and the use of smaller trucks with limited space.
What components are included with a used engine when I place an order?
The used engine you purchase will include all essential internal components, such as the engine block, cylinder head, pistons, camshaft, and crankshaft, all of which are covered under our warranty. Additionally, external parts like sensors, switches, cables, electronics, belts, hoses, water pumps, manifolds, oil pans, and gaskets are included at no extra cost for your convenience. However, please note that these external components are not covered under the warranty.
What should I do if the merchandise I receive is defective, incorrect, or damaged?
Thrifty Engines offers up to a 3-year return and full refund warranty on all orders. You can submit a return request from the website and we will take prompt action to resolve your claim as soon as possible.
Is it possible for me to come and collect my part in person?
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a pickup option as our inventory is dispersed from multiple supplier locations. However, all orders placed within the United States come with free shipping.
Do I have to return my old core?
No, we don’t need your old core.
Do you provide the VIN# of the donor vehicle I am purchasing the part from?
